Jasprint are the region’s oldest digital print company, celebrating 30 years of business in 2011 when we began working with them. As well as offering a high quality digital service (and believe me it is as picky old Dom, previously a bit sniffy about digital print is very happy to use them!) the gang at Jasprint, headed up by MD John Rowell, offer a wide range of other specialist services such as direct mail and book publishing.
Jasprint wanted our assistance with developing a new brand which would reflect the traditional family values at the heart of the business and which would demonstrate their friendly,
can do attitude.
In an increasingly competitive market place, with a plethora of ‘budget’ and online print sellers and with traditional lithographic printers muscling in on the digital print market, a brand, marketing and communication strategy would be key in helping Jasprint to keep the clients they already had and to generate new clients and develop new products.
By exploring the company’s values and ethos and researching both the potential market and their competitors, we created a warm, solid looking and professional brand which really attracted and resonated with their customers and contacts from the word go.
We knew that a successful website was a really key part of the project and so developed a site that was much more than an online brochure but that allowed them to demonstrate their expertise, offer useful information and advice to visitors, as well as outlining the benefits of their services and products and offering news and promotions to help drive business.
They also needed help with their overall marketing and business development strategy and so we worked with them to develop a strategy and action plan of both ongoing and regular activity and specific campaign work to niche markets. This gave a structure and focus to their marketing and also gave them the confidence to start delivering campaigns in house.
As well as the website we developed a new company stationery set, complete with a very funky and memorable business card for John and also developed their email marketing and developing a range of template to use within popular online e-marketing software, mailchimp.
An eye catching and impactful brand identity which generates attention and provokes the right reaction within the market place; a clear idea of company values and what messages and benefits must be communicated to help win business; an overall strategy with detailed 12 month action plan to help the company stay on track with delivering their ongoing client relations and to build relationships and win business from new clients.
