Blu Sky are a team of chartered accountants based in North Shields. But they’re a bit more than that and also have a different, more forward thinking approach to business and the ways in which they help their clients. So it stands to reason that they need a brand identity and marketing approach that clearly differentiates then from the usual run of the mill accountancy practices.
When Blu Sky approached us to help then with their branding they initially wanted a light refresh, a slight modernisation of their existing logo. However we felt that it was time for a bolder step! They also needed to take then updated brand through a range of materials such as stationery, print and exhibition materials and also felt that their office environment, a place where clients frequently visited, didn’t really match up to the brand identity and reputation that they’d been building over the past few years.
As well as offering some subtle changes to their existing logo we also presented several options which were a significant step away and which we felt truly represented the kind of company and people that they are. Luckily they agreed and took the bold step of choosing one of these logo ideas to form the basis of a brand refresh.
Once this part of the project was complete we quickly began work on their company stationery, a range of information postcards and exhibition materials that they needed for up coming events they were attending.
We also took on the task of changing their working environment, transforming some fairly ordinary looking office rooms and reception and meeting areas into much more dynamic, professional and welcoming spaces in which to work and meet with their clients.
It’s fair to say that the team at Blu Sky are delighted with the work that we have carried out for them and the new brand identity that has been achieved.
They have received more than their fair share of compliments, including from Barclays Bank who held up their brand and business cards as being the most memorable they had seen for a team of accountants. At expos and events their striking display stand and promotional materials draw attention and most importantly, everything from their letterhead to their office environment works hard to communicate that this is not your ordinary accountancy firm and that they’re offiering a different style of service.
